MEET EWAN- FOUNDER OF S&P RENEWABLES

Ewan founded S&P Renewables in 2009 with a simple goal, to bring reliable, high-quality renewable energy solutions to homes and businesses across the Scottish Borders and beyond.

An alarm engineer by trade, Ewan quickly progressed into team management and sales, gaining invaluable hands-on experience across every stage of system design and installation. When his employer first branched into the renewable energy sector, he developed a deep understanding of solar power and energy efficiency, knowledge that would later inspire him to start his own business.

After moving back to Scotland, Ewan launched S&P as a one-man operation, taking on every role from solar panel installation to customer service. Over time, he built a small but highly skilled team, keeping the business deliberately local to ensure every project receives the same personal care and attention to detail.

Today, while Ewan takes on more of a managerial role, he’s still often found on site, keeping close to the work, the team, and the technology that drives S&P forward. Together, they deliver everything in-house, supported by trusted local subcontractors, ensuring every renewable energy installation is completed to the highest standard.
